Q: What is included in the price of glasses?
A: A fab SEE frame, plus single vision plastic or premium polycarbonate lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are thinner / lighter, include UV protection, and are virtually unbreakable.
Q: Is your whole collection on the website?
A: No! Stop by a store and you’ll see for yourself – we have tons of fabulous product and we’re updating our collection constantly.
Q: Do you sell prescription sunglasses?
A: We sure do! You can pick a pair off the sunglass wall or pick any frame in the store and we can turn it into your favorite pair of sunglasses. We offer polarized sunglasses in just about every material and lens type, including CR-39 plastic, polycarbonate and high-index.
Q: Do you sell non-prescription sunglasses?
A: We have a fabulous selection of sunglasses for $99 and some include polarized sun lenses.
Q: How long will it take for my glasses to arrive?
A: Anywhere from just a few days to ten days, depending on how complex your order is. We can also put your order on rush, so your specs will be made as fast as possible.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: Yes, and cost will vary depending on the shipping location. Unless you live on a warm tropical island, then we’d like to hand deliver them. You know, quality control and all.
Q: I have a strong prescription—can you fill it?
A: Yes we can! We offer the latest technology to produce a very thin cosmetically appealing pair of glasses for all prescriptions.
Q: Do you offer reading glasses?
A: We have the cutest reading glasses around, and they’re available in-store so you can walk right out the door with them (for those of you who are into instant gratification). Plus if you want to get really fancy we can make a custom reader with your prescription. Just pick any frame from our collection.
Q: Can I just order frames without prescription lenses?
A: Of course! Even the lucky ones with 20/20 vision need to add some great eyewear to their wardrobe.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: SEE stores accept various types of insurance, depending on where you live. Feel free to give your store a ring if you have questions!
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: SEE stores accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, SEE gift cards, and our very own SEE credit card (save 10% on everything when you use your SEE credit card on your SEE purchases!). In addition, some stores accept their own mall gift cards. SEE online accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Sorry, we don’t barter for livestock or take I.O.U notes.
Q: Can I pay using my Flex Spending or Health Savings Account card?
A: Sure, as long as it is associated with a major credit card.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Every order is custom, so we cannot return the glasses once the order is in process. For non-prescription sunglasses we don’t offer refunds, but store credit will be given within 10 days for glasses returned in spanking new condition.
Q: How do I change or cancel my order?
A: Not that we don’t love you, but orders can only be changed or canceled on the same day. Once in process we can’t cancel an order. Go ahead, call us ogres. Your glasses are being custom made just for you!
Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: We know Fido has great taste in eyewear, but sometimes he can get carried away. With the exception of loss, your glasses come with a 50% off warranty for damaged or broken frames and lenses one time in the first year.
Due to the delicate nature of the material and the limited supply of our SEE Buffalo Horn Capsule Collection, these frames are not subject to warranty. However, we’re not complete ogres so we would be happy to warranty 50% of your lenses within one year.
Q: Do you ever have sales? What about coupons?
A: Psh, who needs sales when you can get in on our Bribes and Secret Offers! Sign up for those and we’ll send you invites for our events, info on charity programs, and some really rad bribes.
Q: When you say “voted best eyewear,” what do you really mean?
A: Well, we don’t want to be major braggadocios but we’ve been voted “Best Eyewear” across the country! From Boston to San Francisco, Detroit to Nashville, we’re popping up on “Best of” lists year after year.
Q: What type of lenses do you offer?
A: The very best available from names like Seiko and Essilor. They supply first quality hard-coated lenses with superior scratch resistance and UV protection.
Q: Can I get thin, lightweight lenses for my prescription?
A: Absolutely! We recommend polycarbonate, Trivex or Superthin High-Index lenses to produce a thin lightweight pair of eyeglasses.
Q: Do you offer bifocal or progressive lenses?
A: All of our SEE stores offer bifocal and progressive lenses! We strongly recommend our SEE HD lenses, which are made in Michigan at our state-of-the-art laboratory for the most precise vision at all distances (trust us, you’ll love them!).
Q: What applications do you recommend?
A: We highly recommend every pair of eyeglasses should have a multi-layered anti-reflection application. This sharpens your vision and allows others to see your beautiful eyes more clearly.
Q: What lenses do you recommend for sunglasses?
A: We recommend polarized sun lenses because they perform best outdoors. They block harmful UV rays and surface glare.
Q: Do you offer tinted fashion lenses?
A: But of course. Our SEE stores offer a rainbow of colors, tinted in solid, gradient and double gradient. In addition, we have our very own lens recipes consisting of vibrant colors in double gradients with a light flash mirror.
Q: What’s the best way to clean my lenses?
A: With the fabulous SEE lens cleaner and fancy microfiber cloth or the SEE moistened towelettes, all of which are available at the stores! We seriously recommend picking these up, it’s the very best way to clean and protect your lenses from getting scratched.
Q: My lenses are scratched. What should I do?
A: In most cases, new lenses are the best/only option. However, they may be covered under warranty if they are less than a year old. Feel free to check with the store where you ordered them.
Q: Can you replace lenses in my existing SEE frames?
A: We sure can, as long as the frame is in good condition. Stop by your local SEE store so we can evaluate and price new lenses for you.
Q: Can you replace the lenses in my non-SEE frames?
A: Yes, in most cases. Stop by your local SEE store so we can evaluate and price new lenses for you.
Q: How do I get a prescription?
A: You’ve come to the right place! Most SEE locations have an independent doctor of optometry on site to provide comprehensive eye exams, so you can schedule an exam with them and pick out a new pair of specs all in the same day! West Palm Beach and some California stores do not offer exams.
Q: How long is my prescription good for?
A: That’ll depend on your doctor, but the standard for most states is one year.
Q: Do you keep my prescription on file?
A: We know you won’t be able to resist buying new frames once in a while, so we certainly keep your prescription on file.
Q: How do I submit my eyeglass prescription?
A: You can bring a copy with you, have your eye doctor fax it in, send a carrier pigeon our way, or summon it with your hidden magical powers. As long as it’s valid, we’ll take it.
Q: Can I use my contact lens prescription to order glasses?
A: Would you use a fork to eat soup? Many times a contact lens prescription varies from a glasses prescription and cannot be used to order glasses.

Q: What do the measurements numbers mean?
A: The first number is the frame size, the second number is the bridge size (nose area), the third number is the length of the temple.

A: Customer service is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m EST.
Q: My glasses need to be adjusted, what do I do?
A: We offer free in-store adjustments on your SEE eyewear. Stop by your local SEE store and we will tweak your glasses to perfection. If you don't live near a SEE store, your local Optometrist office may be able to adjust them.
Q: What does "In select stores only" mean?
A: SEE buys limited quantities of all our frames and they sell out quickly! If you see this message, your frame isn't available for purchase online, but may be available in your local SEE store.
Q: Can I buy lenses for my current SEE frame online?
A: We can put new lenses in your existing frame at any of our SEE stores. Stop by and we will do what we can to help you out.
Q: Do you offer progressive and bifocal lenses online?
A: Our SEE stores are happy to hook you up with progressive and bifocal lenses. Online we offer single vision lenses which are included in the price of the frame.
Q: What exactly are Transitions Lenses?
A: Transitions Lenses are lenses that are clear when you are indoors and darken when they are exposed to outdoor light, specifically a combination of outdoor light and UV rays. Our Transitions are built into the matrix of the lens, meaning the Transition coating won't peel or chip off (amazing!).
Q: Can you tint my lenses? What colors of tint do you offer?
A: Absolutely! Take your SEE online frame purchase to any of our SEE stores and we will be happy to show you the endless variety of tints when you order your lenses.
Q: Why is PD so important? Why does everyone talk about it so much?
A: Your PD is the distance between your pupils, a.k.a. pupillary distance. It is measured in millimeters and is essential in aligning your prescription with your eyes to give you the crispest, clearest vision.

Q: I have a contact lens prescription; can I use this for my glasses?
A: Your contact lens prescription and your eyeglass prescription are two different prescriptions. Eyeglass prescriptions can sometimes be more comprehensive for your vision, so your glasses will need to be made to your eyeglass prescription specifications.
Q: How do I get a copy of my prescription?
A: Easy! Call the Doctor where you had your last exam. The office should be able to email, fax, or mail it to you. If you have had your exam at your local SEE store, we will be happy to dispense your valid prescription to you.
Q: Can you use the prescription off of my current pair of glasses?
A: We want to give you the best, most accurate vision so that we can achieve the perfect specs for you. We will need a written copy of your valid prescription in order to do that.
Q: I don't have a prescription but I found a SEE frame I LOVE! What do I do?
A: We have you covered! You can still purchase the frame you love and we will give you 60 days to redeem our FREE Single Vision Lens Voucher online or in store. Since we buy our frames in limited quantities, we suggest you purchase the frame you love now so that you don't miss out!
Q: Do you offer 2nd Day Air or Next Day Shipping?
A: Yes! We offer UPS 2nd Day air for $15 and UPS Next Day for $25. If you would like us to ship your order one of these ways, call us at 800-289-3937 after you place your order and we will update your shipping method.
Q: Do you ship internationally? How much does it cost?
A: Yes! We ship UPS ground to Canada for $25 and UPS Letterpack to all other countries for $60. Since each country has its own laws and regulations, you may need to pay the applicable Duties and Taxes upon delivery.
Q: How long will it take to get my glasses?
A: We want your glasses to be perfect and we won't stop until they are. We do our best to ensure that your glasses pass all of our quality tests so manufacturing time may vary.

Q: I'm not feeling my order. What do I do?
A: Don't panic, we have you covered. We will give you 14 days to exchange or return your SEE frame. You can visit your local SEE store for help or you can exchange or return online. If you're returning online, visit your SEE account, select the order and item you would like to return, print out your prepaid shipping label and drop it off at any UPS authorized location. Once we receive your complete order, we will issue you a full refund. If you see something else you think you may love, please callus at 800-289-3937 to do an exchange.
Q: My glasses arrived damaged. What now?
A: We are sorry to hear that this happened. Please call us at 800-289-3937 or email us at email@example.com and we will work with you to get you a perfect pair of glasses.
Q: Can I receive a store credit for my return?
A: Yes! Visit your local SEE store who can issue you a store credit. Who knows, you might even find a frame you love even more!
Q: Am I able to use my vision insurance online?
A: We don't offer insurance orders online, however, our SEE stores accept a wide variety of insurance. Want to see if you're covered? Call your local SEE store with your insurance card and we can see if we are an in-network provider.
Q: Can I use my Flex Spending Card (FSA) or my Health Savings Account (HSA) card online?
A: Yes! You can use your FSA/HSA card on any optical frame order (anything but non-prescription sunglasses). As long as your FSA/HSA card has a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express logo, you can use it toward your purchase online. We will even give you an itemized receipt with your order. Q: What methods of payment do you accept online?

Q: Do I pay taxes on my glasses?
A: Some states require sales tax on your eyewear. When you purchase a frame online, you may have to pay tax. However, when you redeem your FREE Single Vision Lens Voucher, we may be able to credit the tax you paid. Call us at 800-289-3937 for more information.
Q: I need an itemized receipt. What do I do?
A: We will include an itemized receipt with your order! Need an additional or replacement receipt? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 800-289-3937 and we will send you a copy of your receipt right away.
Q: How do I cancel my order?
A: If you change your mind and haven't received your order yet, call us at 800-289-3937. If your order has not shipped yet, we will cancel your order for you and process your refund. Keep in mind, we process orders lightning quick, so if your order has shipped, you can return it once you receive it by visiting your account and printing a prepaid shipping label or by visiting a SEE store. once we receive your order back, we will issue you a refund.
