SEE 5917

Let’s talk about GLITTER!!!! Glitter was invented in 1934 by a man named Henry Ruschmann, a New Jersey cattle rancher who also fancied himself a machinist. One magical afternoon in an effort to compress garbage in landfills, Henry accidentally created what we now refer to as “glitter.” You’ll find glitter adorning these frames, making them the adorable facial accessory you see before you. You’ll also find glitter assaulting our mail, permeating our skin, developing complex immunities to vacuuming and ruining our lives.

What do these numbers mean?

Frame measurements are located on the inside of the temple. The first number in the measurement refers to the lens width, the second number is distance in between the two lenses (a.k.a. bridge width), and the third number is the full length of the temple.

If you have a current pair of glasses and you like the way they fit, you can compare the measurements to a SEE frame you’re eyeing to see if it would fit in a similar fashion.
